Dr Olga Ormandjieva is an assistant professor at the Computer Science  and Software Engineering department, Concordia University, and a  member of the OIQ (Ordre des  Ingénieurs du Québec).

Her research  interests include developing Software Engineering methods for quality  assessment based on analysis and formalization of non-functional  requirements.
She has developed quality measurement model, including  reliability,  for real-time reactive system (RTRS) designs and for  early assessment of software complexity and quality in functional size  measurement with COSMIC-FFP (applicable from the requirements phase).

The research achievements on the RTRS are being extended to modeling  of non-functional requirements and their control in autonomic systems  (Autonomic Systems Timed Reactive Model AS-TRM project, please, see  http://users.encs.concordia.ca/~ac/.

Her current research work  includes also the applicabiltiy of natural language processing  techniques in the requiremetns engineering (NLP-SE project, please,  see http://users.encs.concordia.ca/~nlp-se/.
